You can't protect what you don't understand. For even the most mature and well-understood (i.e., arch is transparent, logs are plentiful, etc.) "cloud" things, there's enough happening under the proverbial hood that folks with certain threat models will and should take pause.

Interesting take. My experience has been that public cloud (IaaS and PaaS, or infrastructure) and SaaS (applications) are largely accepted.
