It's not a coincidence that the people spending the most time talking about (not even advocating for/against) AI regulation are populations whose very existence depends on never being left behind. "Builders" never have this concern. And it's otherwise predictable who does 🙃

I'm not sure it's true that the AI regulation push is anti-tech. Actually, not sure "anti-tech" is a thing, beyond Unabomber-type personas.

I believe the motivation is ensuring they can:

1⃣Capitalize on it (invest)
