Keith McCammon is a co-founder and the Chief Security Officer at Red Canary, pioneers in Managed Detection and Response (MDR), detection engineering, and modern security operations. Keith established Red Canary’s security organization and product direction, building a team and culture focused intently on delivering world-class security outcomes to businesses of every size.

He has over two decades of security and technology experience. Prior to focusing on information security, Keith worked on national and global telecommunications infrastructure. His work in telecommunications focused increasingly on security, leading him to found the inaugural Snort (network intrusion detection) user group in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Prior to founding Red Canary in 2013, Keith spent over a decade supporting the U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence community, primarily in the areas of Computer Network Operations (CNO) and signals intelligence (SIGINT).
